My name is Mohsin Hassan, a Software Engineer based in Islamabad, Pakistan with 3+ years of experience delivering scalable web applications for SaaS, e-commerce and enterprise clients. I work day to day in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS.

I like owning a feature end to end, from API design through to the responsive UI, inside an Agile team. Leading the component architecture on one team cut development time by 40% across 3+ projects, and I've built frontends that hold up for as many as 20,000 concurrent users.

How I got here

I studied Computer Science at SZABIST in Islamabad and started out as a Frontend Developer, building component-based React interfaces and tuning Core Web Vitals through lazy loading, code splitting and caching. Within a year I moved into full-stack work: REST and GraphQL APIs, Node.js services, MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Today I'm a Software Engineer at Turing Technologies on a 12-person cross-functional team, working on MERN applications and the move from a monolith to microservices, while leading code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
